If you're not familiar with GLWD, it is an organization that prepares and distributes hot meals to immobile or home-bound Aids patients and other terminally ill people. The business is completely dependent on the help of volunteers, so the group of us stepped up for prep-work to help out. Our volunteers sliced and diced veggies for soup, and we're not talking a 5lb. bag of carrots either. GLWD has a lot of mouths to feed, in the upwards of 1,800 per day to be exact. In layman terms that translates to 50lbs. of carrots. 50lbs. Yeah, that's a lot of carrots. And then came the onions...
