Abila Adds New Features and Functionality to MIP Fund Accounting
Abila announced a number of key feature enhancements to Abila MIP Fund Accounting™ and cloud-based MIP AdvanceTM. The enhancements include key changes ensuring Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, expanded API capabilities for seamless integration, and improvements to security.
A brief look at the new enhancements:
Improved Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting
Key changes to data transferred between Abila MIP Fund Accounting and reporting partners.
Includes expanded alerting – a new alert for check writing without a vendor ID. If a check is written without an associated vendor ID, selected members of a distribution list (both within Abila MIP and outside the Abila MIP system) will receive a notification.
Synchronize with external systems
REST-based API improvements cut down on time-intensive exporting, data transformation, and importing activities at organizations.
Simple budget transaction entry (MIP Advance only)
You can now create and manage budgets using the new Web interface.
Auto-incrementing (MIP Advance only)
Auto-incrementing of journal entries and other transaction types.
