Recent news came out that Microsoft plans to discontinue the support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 in Office 365 and Office 365 GCC as of June 2020 in order to protect data security. This means that starting June 2020, any commercial and GCC devices or services that connects to Office 365 by using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will not succeed.

Are You Ready for Windows 7 End of Support this January?

Post January 14, Microsoft will not be providing any security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7. This will lead to rise in use of non-certified hardware devices and unsupported peripherals for Windows 7 to name a few. If you’re one of the 37% of people still using Windows 7, now is the time to start planning your upgrade to Windows 10.

G/L Posting Reversal: Did you know there’s a quick and easy way to reverse a posting on the G/L in Sage 100?
In G/L Account Maintenance on the Transactions screen, highlight the record, and click the Journal Reversal (Alt-R) icon/arrow on the right (see below screen-shot). Alternatively you could drill-down into the record and click Journal Reversal on that screen. This will create the reversing entry in G/L Journal Entry (including a journal comment noting the reversal) for your review and posting. If the Reversal button is not available, you may not have security rights for “Journal Reversals” or creation of G/L Journal Entries, or you’re in Account Inquiry or a transaction/record isn’t highlighted.
