Sage 100 Newsletter – Q2 2020
Keeping You Up-To-Date With Information About Sage 100
From the Desk of the Sage 100 Consulting Manager, Lisa Margolies
Hello everyone, well the first two quarters of 2020 threw us a couple of curveballs that we did not think about when we rang in the New Year.
Everyone is talking about the ‘new normal’. What is the new normal?
For Net at Work, the new normal has meant not going out to our clients the way we used to and working remotely. Our Sage 100 team is fortunate that most of us were working remotely already for the most part and did not have to overcome obstacles regarding working and assisting our clients to move forward with their goals.
But the new normal brings new variables that we did not think of… like kids interrupting us when they should be at school or the dog barking. Although most of the Net at Work consultants were working remotely, we are now also used to our clients working remotely where most of you would be in the office. As we enter June with parts of our country opening up and some beginning to return back to our workplaces, we are taking every precaution to assure a safe and orderly transition for all employees, both your and ours.
We have kept busy upgrading clients to Sage 100 version 2020 that was released in March. Many of our clients have taken advantage of the extra downtime and are using the spare time to have reports written, upgrades performed, assist with new module implementations and other gaps that have been identified previously.
If you are on Sage 100 version 2017 and prior, please note that your version is no longer supported by Sage; if an issue is identified within Sage, Sage will no longer support that version or provide fixes.
I’ll take this opportunity to highlight some of the great new enchants & features (many of you have asked for!) that are available in version 2020. You can watch a video demo of the all new v2020 here.
