Learning new technologies requires trial and error. Training provides a much needed basis, but we inevitably face uncharted tasks once we are on our own. This period of time in the learning process can be the most frustrating and daunting stretch when using new technologies. Hours can be wasted trouble-shooting with little progress unless we are provided outside support and resources. Online communities have risen to overcome and walk through these challenges together. Continue reading how Sage has provided one of its most effective support communities for Sage Intelligence by connecting Sage Intelligence experts, Sage Partners, and Sage users.
The Sage Intelligence Community is an online community for anyone using the Sage Intelligence reporting tool across Sage solution platforms. The site is complete with a forum, individual groups, videos, and webcasts. All of these features are provided free of charge. Materials include online user-guides, how-to video tutorials, and online webinars. Information is also grouped ranging from “kickoff” or “getting started” to advanced report writing. Links are updated as new features and upgrades are provided. The site is a great starting point whether you are interested in watching YouTube training videos, or need initial assistance in addressing a workstation error.
One of the other free offerings on the community are free report templates! You can even download a plugin that allows you to automatically download free report templates to Sage 300. Now you are able to find report templates without starting from the beginning. This can save hours of report design time, especially if you are implementing advanced features (e.g. pass-through variables) for the first time.
With all of the valuable content and free resources available on the Sage Intelligence Community, you will become empowered in undertaking your own custom reports. We hope this community will be a complement as you work with our team at Net at Work to accomplish your reporting and business intelligence needs!
