Net at Work Announces Information Security Services Practice Government Regulations Create need for Higher Levels of Information Assurance

New York (October 27, 2004) – Net at Work, a leading provider of business technology solutions, today announced they have launched an Information Security Services division. Offerings will include all information security related services including information security assessments, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, security design and implementation, and security policies and procedures.

As Information Security continues to transform the way companies conduct business, some have moved to implement stricter security measures in pursuit of demonstrating due diligence for clients and investors, and others have been challenged to achieve levels of information assurance by government regulations; namely the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, the Gramm Leach Bliley Act of 1999, and the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996.

“Our security services are enterprise-wide and address the fulfillment of all industry related regulations”, said Uri Weis, Net at Work’s Chief Technology Officer. He added, “Our security experts are highly experienced in assessing, planning, and implementing security best practices that will secure your computing infrastructure and reduce threats to your business”.

In 2002, Net at Work successfully launched a sister company Docutrend Imaging systems, which has focused on the document management concerns brought forward due to such regulations as Sarbanes Oxley and the Graham Leach Bliley Acts.
