Before joining Net@Work in 2015, Jeffrey Goldberg PMP, CBCP, CSM has worked in the Financial Services and Consulting sectors for over thirty years in various capacities from technical expert to departmental and global program manager. The breadth of his technical knowledge and business skill set encompasses program and project management, high-availability designs, security, client/server platforms, messaging, communications and mainframe platforms as well as ITIL, data center best practices and disaster recovery/business continuity planning. Through his leadership and commitment to purpose, he has established a track record of delivering projects on budget and on time.
Jeffrey has excelled when his management skills and technical expertise are applied to the development, deployment and support of highly available secure systems based on defined business requirements. He began his career by writing application code on one of the major trading systems at a brokerage firm. He then went on to manage on-line trading system for two major investment banks. In the late ‘90s Jeffrey managed the deployment of a client/server system for an established, global, financial services corporation. This complex program involved the coordination of sites in Asia, Europe, North American, and South America and the upgrading of software on 90,000 desktops and the installation of over 50 regional servers. Other accomplishments include global desktop outsourcing PMO and implementation for a major brokerage house, data center security procedure audits and disaster recovery/business continuity implementation projects.
IT Audit responsibilities include policy review and definition, review of IT roles and responsibilities, controls necessary for change and problem management, SDLC guidelines, and best practices for backup/recovery. Other service offerings include IT process reviews, disaster recovery and security audits for many diverse clients. Key drivers when Jeffrey works with clients is a focus on reviewing client requirements, assessing IT risks, proposing various options to mitigate risks and leading infrastructure deployment projects.
Here at Net@Work, Jeffrey quickly began to review and assess project activities, though he took time to understand the demands on the team. Additionally Jeffrey has begun to take ownership of the department strategic growth, with a keen sensitivity to the professional growth and success of the team members – individually and collectively.
