Urgent Microsoft Security Bulletin

Microsoft has issued an urgent security bulletin advising users to uninstall four individual updates associated with their August Update: 2982791, 2970228, 2975719, and 2975331.

These updates addressed security & features, and began rolling out on August 2.

The above Windows Updates could cause the Blue Screen of Death after a reboot. Sometimes even after a second or third reboot. If your PC has not crashed already, do not ignore this issue and proceed to uninstall the above updates.

This Microsoft security bulletin #MS14-045 applies to Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1, plus Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003.
