On Saturday, March 14, 2020, the House of Representatives passed House Resolution 6201, known as the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”), to address the impact of COVID-19 and provide economic relief to U.S. workers. FFCRA was passed by the Senate and signed into law by President Trump.

Employers with fewer than 500 employees are required to immediately provide short term paid sick leave to employees and will be eligible to receive tax credits.
