2023.1 RELEASE of Sage Fixed Assets Crystal Version Conflict

In January, Sage released the Fixed Assets update to 2023.1. In that version, Sage 100 applications may experience issues with compatibility. This can occur when they reside on the same Server, and when the Client User has both applications running print jobs from their Desktop.

Crystal Reports compatibility Sage Fixed Assets 2023.1 uses SAP Crystal Reports runtime SP30. This allows a new export option of XLSX.

This may cause an issue with older Crystal Reports runtime versions used by other products. You may experience a compatibility issue after upgrading to Sage Fixed Assets 2023.1 if you later install (or reinstall) Sage on the same machine.

Sage has published a suggestion to RUN Installation Repair Option if clients have installed Sage 100 after Sage SFA 2023.
