Sam Morris is one of our best systems consultants!  Those of you who have had a chance to work with him know what I mean!  But did you also know he is an amazing athlete?  In addition to long distance cycling, 100 km (62 mi) and long-distance running, 100 km (62 mi) he also does the short speed sprints, with a best time of 9.97 in the 100m which puts him at the Olympic Games level!

Some fact, some fiction!  Sam does not do short speed sprints, but he is an amazing runner and cyclist! Over the course of 6 months, he has completed a 100 km (62 mile) Gravel Bike Race and a 100 Km (62 mile) Foot Race!

Sam Morris has been working with the Sage Intacct software since 2017. Before that he worked in the private sector, in accounting positions. Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sam now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife, Kristen, and 2 cats, Kevin and Doc.

In Sam’s own words…  I have quite a few hobbies that have long exceeded my working career. I really enjoy staying fit, mostly by running in the woods and lifting weights but sometimes I’ll go for the occasional bike ride. I played collegiate soccer and have been chasing that level of fitness ever since. I am also a very avid fan of all things music. I can play 7 instruments and can dabble in a few more. I mostly play drums and bass these days and am the lead singer and drummer in one band and play bass and sing in a now regionally successful 90’s country cover band.

How cool is that!  Sam brings this excellence and dedication to his career, and our customers love him for it.  We are so pleased to have Sam as part of our Net at Work Intacct Team.
