Founded in 1966, GCV&M is the largest and most comprehensive living history museum in New York State, covering over 600 acres.  The Museum offers opportunities to see, smell, taste, touch, explore, and experience 19^th century American history through artifacts, historic buildings, wildlife paintings, gardens, and a working farm.  A nonprofit organization, GCV&M has many learning opportunities in the form of educational programs, spring and summer camps, and workshops, youth classes and virtual programs. Coupled with a Historic Village, The John L. Wehle Gallery, and a Nature Center, GCV&M has something for everyone!

Genesee Country Village & Museum is open until November 15 this year, and during the month of December, they are open for holiday special events and winter programs. Some of the events include a Cheesemaking Workshop, Maple Sugaring 101, Yuletide in the Country Tours and Dinners, and so much more! Treat your kids to Breakfast with St. Nick, and you’ll have started a whole new tradition!
