Restricted Inventory for Sage X3

Restricted Inventory for Sage X3 provides companies with the functionality to tag products as restricted—for both the ordering and receiving portions of the purchase process.

The restricted class may be used to tag products present on regulatory or governmental lists. In these situations, only certified customers at approved locations may order and receive the restricted product, while others may not. In addition, some facilities may be allowed to store while others are allowed to sell the products but not ever take possession. Further, these items may have maximum quantities that can be stored at any time.

The Restricted Inventory module provides customers with the functionality at the Ship-To level to control products by location. Sales restrictions are removed when customers provide appropriate documentation to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
