Budgeting for Mobile Technology

Sage recently conducted a survey on the use of mobile devices in small and medium sized businesses. The study found that while the majority of industries surveyed did not budget for mobile technology, sectors such as manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, and construction overwhelmingly agree that mobile technology has a positive impact on their businesses.

With more than 40 percent reporting that they have a BYOD (bring your own device) policy in place, employers may not see the need to budget for mobile, since BYOD helps ensure that expenses are relatively small.
