Several years ago as SaaS Applications continued to gain momentum, we started hearing from our customers about issues they were having with the SaaS model: They did not have the flexibility that was necessary to run 3rd party applications, they also lost control and the ability to dictate when they wanted to perform updates or apply operating system patches. We also heard loud and clear that it was very frustrating for them to deal with multiple vendors – one for the applications, another for the infrastructure, and others for 3rd party applications that did not integrate well or at all.
Customers realized that they were spending more time managing partners than they had been spending managing the daily care and feeding of running the applications on their own hardware in-house.
Net at Work decided to create our own Private Cloud Solution so that we could deliver Sage on-premise programs as a SaaS Experience. The Cloud at Work Hosting Division was formed in 2017 and was made up of IT Specialists who had spent most of their careers in the cloud hosting space.
We invested in Enterprise Level Infrastructure, networking, security and support to deliver a Virtual Private Cloud that gives customers the peace of mind knowing that their production applications are running in a secure and reliable environment with 99.99% availability and 24x7x365 monitoring and support. We also leveraged Top Tier Data Centers on the East Coast and in the Mid-West to deliver disaster recovery and backup solutions that ensure our customers’ data is stored in multiple geographic disperse locations.
The end result – Cloud at Work customers have a single provider that they can trust to help run everything from the applications down through the infrastructure, with no finger pointing or headaches dealing with multiple vendors. While our focus is on providing hosted Sage applications, we are also capable of hosting any other 3rd Party Application that might need to be integrated.
