Sage Fixed Assets (FAS) Consolidated Reporting
By: Chris Wilbur, Senior Business Analyst/Consultant
Did you know you can generate reports that reflect more than one Sage FAS company? This is made possible by the Merge Companies feature. When two or more companies are merged together, the original companies remain unchanged. A new company is created with the merged data. You can then run any reports in the new company to get a consolidated picture of multiple companies’ fixed assets.
Note: Only companies with the same fiscal year-end dates and short years can be merged.
To use this feature, navigate to the File pull-down menu, select Company Utilities (or Organization Utilities, if you’re a nonprofit entity), and select Merge Companies.
