Keeping You Up-To-Date With Information About Sage 300
Sage Has Decommissioned the Sage 300 Online Server: Now What?
If you are using Sage 300 Online you should have been notified that Sage will be shutting down those servers effective 7/1/18. This means as of July 1st you will no longer have access to your data, which means you have a very short window to make a decision on a new solution and migrate your data. Even though Sage is creating a new version of Sage 300 Online you will still need to migrate your instance to those new servers which will require assistance from Net at Work.
The good news is that the new version of Sage 300 Online is not your only option. Net at Work has been working diligently to ensure your service will be uninterrupted and also to ensure you have an option that works best for you; regardless of your size, industry, etc.
So What Are Your Options?
Migrate to Sage 300C hosted by Net at Work (Recommended)
- You will have access to the full functionality of Sage 300C and the opportunity to leverage the extensive network of 3rd party products if you should need them. 3rd party products are not available with Sage 300 Online.
- Your experience will be similar as what you are used to. All IT infrastructure, Upgrades, and Software will be managed by Net at Work and you will access these products like you do with Sage 300 Online today.
- You will have access to the extensive network of Sage 300 3rd party products.
- Pricing is competitive to the new instance of Sage 300 Online
Migrate to Sage 300C hosted by private cloud vendor
- You will have access to the full functionality of Sage 300C and the opportunity to leverage the extensive network of 3rd party products if you should need them. 3rd party products are not available with Sage 300 Online.
- You will have access to the extensive network of Sage 300 3rd party products.
- Your experience will be the similar as what you are used to.
Move Sage 300C onto your own servers
- This option will require IT infrastructure and maintenance of that infrastructure.
- You will have access to the extensive network of Sage 300 3rd party products.
Move to the new instance of Sage 300 Online
- Sage will be migrating existing customers to new servers.
- The cost of the new instance of Sage 300 Online will be significantly higher than today. Like the Net at Work option, upgrades will be included in this new version.
- Your experience will be similar to your existing Sage 300 Online
- You will not have access to 3rd party products

- Regardless of which option you choose time is of the essence. We believe all affected customers have been contacted by our Account Managers. If you have not yet heard from your Account Manager please reach out to me so we can start those discussions. We will need as much time as possible to migrate your solution to whichever option you choose.
- Net at Work Hosting services are available for all Net at Work customers even if you are not on Sage300 Online but would like to discuss these services just give us a call.
